State Gives Final Approval to Nantucket Pot Shop

BOSTON — Nantucket’s first marijuana shop hopes to open the first week of August after receiving two crucial approvals from the Cannabis Control Commission on Thursday.

The commission, which oversees marijuana in the state, approved the Green Lady’s application for both retail and marijuana product manufacturer licenses, giving islanders their first chance at legal access to marijuana.

The company plans to sell flowers, concentrates, cannabis-infused lotions and freshly made edibles.
