Pot Dispensary Proposal Goes Before Falmouth Planning Board

FALMOUTH — The proposal for the town’s first medical marijuana dispensary will take a step forward Tuesday as the Planning Board opens a hearing on the required special permit.

Nature’s Remedy of Massachusetts plans to overhaul a small building at the end of a strip mall at 31 Teaticket Highway, across from the Stop & Shop plaza, where it will sell medical marijuana grown and processed in Lakeville.

Plans limit Falmouth sales to medical marijuana, said Robert Carr, the organization’s CEO. He noted the town has a ban on recreational operations.
